In our engineering process, the quotation is usually not the first step. After receiving the drawings, the first thing we do is conduct a “manufacturing feasibility assessment” rather than perform cost calculations.
The key point is not whether it can be done. Instead, it is whether it is suitable for stable mass production.
For example, in an industrial bracket project, we will focus on checking:
• Does the bending sequence lead to cumulative errors?
• Does the welding position have concentrated deformation?
• Does the tolerance truly meet the functional requirements?
