Frequently Asked Questions About Our Metal Bending Service
Q1. What metal bending capabilities does Cangzhou Weizhi offer?
We run three bending machines of different sizes for a wide range of parts. Our core capabilities include complex surface forming, high-precision angle control, and processing of difficult-to-machine materials. Since 1999, we have delivered over 70,000 custom part types to 3,000+ enterprises in 100+ countries. Send us your drawing, and our engineers will confirm the bending route for your part.
Q2. How do you control springback on bent parts?
Springback control starts with process design. In one conveying-equipment project, we cold bent brackets at 2-5 m/min and held the rebound angle within ≤2°. Our operators also fine-tune tooling and bend sequence per material. Therefore, the final angle stays inside your drawing tolerance.
Q3. What angle accuracy can you hold on bent parts?
We measure angle deviation with a three-coordinate measuring instrument. In production, we have held angle deviation at ±0.5° on cold-bent brackets. However, accuracy depends on material, thickness, and tooling. So we confirm the achievable angle tolerance during engineering review, before quoting.
Q4. Can you bend difficult-to-machine materials?
Yes. Our bending service covers difficult-to-machine materials as a core capability. Exact grades and thicknesses depend on your part, so our engineering review confirms the right forming approach. For hard or springy materials, we adjust tooling and process parameters accordingly.
Q5. Which industries use your bent parts?
Our bent parts serve industrial equipment, automobiles, aerospace, medical care, and construction. For example, we supply belt conveyor idler brackets and bucket frame brackets for bucket elevators to conveying equipment manufacturers. If your industry is not listed, send us the drawing; we will still evaluate it.
Q6. Do you protect bent parts against corrosion?
Yes. In the conveyor project, we galvanized the brackets for anti-corrosion protection. We also offer in-house powder coating and other surface treatments. Therefore, bent parts leave our factory ready for assembly and outdoor use.
