Project Cases: Metal Pallet
This is a stainless steel cryotube rack (a device used in laboratories for low-temperature storage of cryotubes). Its manufacturing process is as follows:
1. Material preparation
304 stainless steel plates with a thickness of 0.6–1.2 mm are selected to ensure corrosion and low-temperature resistance. These materials meet the requirements of ultra-low-temperature laboratory environments, such as liquid nitrogen tanks and -80°C refrigerators.
2. Sheet metal processing
① Cutting: Through CNC laser cutting or stamping processes, stainless steel plates are cut into the initial shapes of components such as frames and partitions.
② Stamping forming: The frame is stamped to form a uniform array of circular holes (for fixing the cryotubes), and at the same time, the frame structure is stamped out to ensure overall stability.
③ Bending and forming: Bend the edge and bracket parts to form a three-dimensional structure, ensuring the dimensional accuracy and assembly compatibility of each component.
3. Welding and assembly
① Spot welding or argon arc welding techniques are adopted to weld the frame, partition plates, and other components into a whole, ensuring that the welding points are firm and free of welding spots.
During assembly, each component should be precisely positioned to ensure neat, stable cryotubes when placed.
4. Surface treatment
Grind and polish the weld joint and surface to remove burrs and weld marks, ensuring a smooth surface without dead corners that are convenient for cleaning and help prevent bacterial residue.
5. Quality inspection
① Check the dimensional accuracy and uniformity of the arrangement of the round holes to ensure that the cryotubes can be smoothly inserted without shaking.
② Test the load-bearing capacity and anti-deformation ability of the overall structure, simulate the usage scenarios in low-temperature environments, and verify its stability.
Before the bulk order is confirmed, we will produce a sample within 12 hours according to your requirements and send it to you. Only after your confirmation will we start mass production.
